About No Hungry Child
A practical programme built around nutritious meals, hygiene, dignity and local implementation through participating NGOs.
No Hungry Child is a programme focused on helping ensure that underprivileged children have access to regular nutritious meals. The programme model is built around local implementation through participating NGOs, supported by defined operating standards, documentation, hygiene practices and monitoring.
The programme’s broader vision is simple: No child should go to bed hungry. The approach is practical — identify children who need support, establish a suitable meal centre, prepare nutritious food hygienically and create a dependable system for serving meals with dignity.
Mission
To support underprivileged children with regular, hygienic and nutritious meals through organised local centres operated by capable NGO partners.
Vision
That there should be no child who goes to bed without at least one proper meal a day — delivered through dependable local systems rather than one-time food events.
Hygiene & dignity standards
Programme practices emphasise clean serving areas, handwashing, adequate portions, minimising food waste and safe disposal — so children are served with care and dignity.
