NGO Partnership

For eligible NGOs and social organisations ready to implement a nutritious meal programme for children in their local area.

Who can apply?

The programme is intended for eligible NGOs and social organisations with the capacity and commitment to implement a nutritious meal programme locally. Final eligibility criteria and the document checklist are confirmed by the No Hungry Child programme team.

Implementation requirements

  • A suitable premises for the meal centre. Where a premises is not already available, the indicative requirement is approximately 2,500–3,000 sq. ft., subject to local suitability and programme approval.
  • A functional kitchen and food-preparation area meeting the programme’s equipment, hygiene and safety requirements.
  • Kitchen equipment quotations from suitable vendors.
  • Identification of approximately 100–200 children for the proposed programme, subject to final approval — handled with child-safeguarding and privacy care.
  • Ability to maintain invoices, bills, attendance/beneficiary records, purchase records and operational documentation.
  • Commitment to follow No Hungry Child operating, hygiene, reporting and monitoring standards.

What the NGO should be ready to do

Premises & vendors

Coordinate local premises and landlord where applicable, and coordinate local vendors and quotations.

Children & operations

Identify and document beneficiary children, and manage daily kitchen and meal operations.

Accounts & records

Maintain accounts and supporting documents for review and disbursement cycles.

Integrity

Cooperate with inspections and impact reporting. Use programme funds only for approved purposes.
